The Restaurant:
Entrance to the ancient oil mill
It’s possible to dine (200 metres from the villa, also on foot) in the ancient oil mill of the property, now a restaurant with typical Lucchesian and Tuscan specialities.
Inside, still intact , there are the ancient rough millstones and the wooden presses and outside the tanks and the big cast iron wheel (at the back of the building) which was once used taking water from the Fraga river, to turn the mechanisms (still visible) for the millstones thus allowing the “oil pressing”.
